We’ve recently made some promotions! We’ve never had this many at once, so we’ll announce them together.

Drum roll, please...

Listed in alphabetical order by last name

• Amanda Barker is now our Clean Energy Programs Director. That’s a big job because we get lots of ideas to run with. On top of that, Amanda is now on our Management Team.

• Liz Cameron is now Administrative & Development Coordinator. The trains run on time thanks to Liz.

• Carrie Katan is now our Massachusetts Policy Coordinator. There’s so much energy policy going on in the Bay State, both legislatively and administratively. And it’s a high priority for us.

• Adrianna Lovegrove is now our Community Engagement Manager, which is part of Marketing. The title reflects depth and focus.

• Kate Marcellino is now our Marketing Director. A very demanding job, overseeing our communications in every form. Along with Amanda, Kate has joined the Management Team (besides Amanda and Kate, that’s Larry Chretien, Kelly Gibson, Mikaela Hondros-McCarthy, and Anna Vanderspek).

• Ayumi Shew is now Energy Program Coordinator. Ayumi has her hands in member services, our green power portfolio, and more.

• Last, but not least, Anna Vanderspek is now Associate Director. Anna is one of the region’s best with respect to electric vehicles (EVs) and clean transportation. She’ll continue to lead our Drive Green program, but the title reflects the fact that she does so much more for us—grid modernization, overall organizational management, mentoring (younger staff and me)—and more than you can imagine unless you’ve worked for a small nonprofit.

Now, The Sad Part

Loie Hayes is retiring as our Energy Efficiency Coordinator. She’s been with us for thirteen years, promoting Mass Save, heat pumps, solar, and just about everything we do. She has also been a leader on our DEI Committee.

Tina Munter, our outstanding Rhode Island Policy Advocate, will be getting her master’s degree in economics from the University of Copenhagen. We hope the two years go by fast because we need Tina back here in New England to shape utility policy. Tina is irreplaceable, but we do need a Rhode Island Policy Advocate. Here’s the job posting.

Join us in wishing Loie and Tina well. Farewell’s literal meaning is to fare well on a journey, and we do want that for them, but "see you later" is better.
